Ethnic violence killed seven people in Karachi province of Pakistan on Tuesday. Mirza Adem, a senior police officer, stated that seven people were killed and four others were wounded following night-long clashes in ethnic-sensitive areas of Karachi. Police staged operations on some houses, and several suspects were detained, police said. 2,300 people have died due to ethnic and sectarian conflict in Karachi last year.
