Two teachers were killed when unknown gunmen openedfire near a government high school in Hangu, in north west of Pakistan’s on Tuesdaymorning, (Geo) News reported.The school teachers were on their way to discharge their duties at the governmenthigh school in Gul Bagh area of Hangu at 7:30 am when armed attackers ambushedthem with bullet shots, leaving the two teachers severely injured while theassailants escaped successfully from the scene, police said.The locals shifted the wounded teachers to the District Headquarter Hospital wherethey succumbed to their injuries.The students and the local residents protested against the killing of the teachers and blocked the main road for a while. They demanded the authorities to arrest thekillers.Police have initiated investigation into the incident.
