Fourteen militants were killed and several others detained during search operations in different areas of Balochistan, in southwestern Pakistan.
Huge cache of arms was also recovered during the actions.
According to the Spokesman of Frontier Corps (FC), nine militants were killed while two FC personnel injured in exchange of fire in Morgan Harboi areas of Kalat, (Geo) News reported.
The FC spokesman said those killed in the shootout were involved in Mustang carnage and they were planning to attack PPL project and FC post in Harboi.
During another action in Panjgur district, four militants, involved in target killings and FWO camp attack, were killed while weapons were recovered from their possession.
Separately, one militant was also killed during exchange of fire and another detained in the Kohilo.
Automatic weapons were recovered from their possession.
About 25 suspects were detained during FC and police search operation in Kharotabad and its adjoining areas.
