Mali UN peacekeepers killed by roadside bomb

Four U.N. peacekeepers were killed in northern Mali when their vehicle hit a roadside bomb, a spokesman for the peacekeeping mission there said Thursday.
Olivier Salgado said that a car containing Chadian troops hit the bomb Thursday near Aguel'hoc. In addition to those killed, three other peacekeepers were injured.
The region has experienced earlier mine explosions, including one that killed four U.N. peacekeepers and wounded several others earlier this month.
