In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; and pursuant to the orders of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality will start on Sunday the handing over of 391 new houses that have been completed under Al-Falah Residential Project, as per the rolls compiled by Lands and Houses Allocation Committee in Abu Dhabi Emirate. Khalifa Mohammed Al Mazroui, General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality, said: "This generous bounty is a testament to the keenness of our wise leaders and their deep attention to providing all means of decent living for citizens, ensure stability of Emirati families, provide modern type houses for citizens, boosting family stability, and addressing the means of quality living and welfare of nationals." "We, in Abu Dhabi City Municipality pay high tribute and deeply acknowledge the patriotic initiatives and sincere generosity of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; and His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, epitomizing the keenness of their highnesses to ensure the stability of Emirati families and uplift the living standard and quality life for all citizens," explained Al Mazroui. Owaida Al Qubaisi, Acting Executive Director of Support Services Sector, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, said: "In order to facilitate the process of handing over houses, the Municipality is designating 20 counters for processing the procedures of handing over houses from 8 am up to 8 pm through a flexible mechanism in the Head Office of the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, Sheikh Zayed Road, where the required formalities will be completed, and keys to the houses handed over to the entitled beneficiaries along with letters for connection of electricity. It has been agreed with our strategic partners, including Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, to designate staffs for registering and opening electricity and water accounts for entitled beneficiaries, and Al Dar Properties Company will also deploy staffs to complete the required formalities." On the same lines, Abdul Wahab Al Jabri, Director of Lands and Properties, said: "Once the Decree was issued, the Division took early action towards preparing files of entitled recipients, No-House-Owned Certificates, endorsing the handing over minutes and power connection documents, and coordinating with Al Dar Properties Company the handing over of layouts, internal keys and engineering layouts of houses along with lists of telephone numbers and names of maintenance companies." "The handing over counters have well been fitted with everything needed for the handing over houses to ensure a smooth and hassle-free handing over process upon verifying identity documents. For this purpose, the Municipality has got in place all the technical requisites and staffs capable of handling huge numbers of citizens covered by this generous gesture," noted Al Junaibi. "The Abu Dhabi City Municipality is fully prepared to carry out the handing over of houses to entitled recipients in a smooth, simple and express procedure," said Saeed Al Mansouri, Director of Customers Service, Abu Dhabi City Municipality. "Though massive numbers of entitled citizens are expected to flock to the Municipality's premises on the first day, we have designed a business process that is set to flow smoothly and quietly, thanks to prior preparations and arrangements made by the Municipality for receiving beneficiaries through 20 counters in order to ensure a trouble free exercise without obliging beneficiaries to wait for long. "The front parking space near Gate 1 of the Municipality's premises opposite to the Sheikh Zayed Road, will be provided free of charge during the handing over period, and buggies will be deployed to lift beneficiaries from the parking area to the Municipality's building. The Municipality is also running the Mobile Municipal Service for processing transactions related to disabled beneficiaries so as to hand over to them the keys of their houses along with electric power connection documents at their domiciles as the Municipality is keen on delivering best-in-class services and ensuring the handing over of houses is made as quickly as possible within the specified timeline," explained Al Mansouri. The new houses boast ultra-modern standards catered to address all requisites and facilities including patios, infrastructure and utility services for the project covering health and educational aspects among others. The Municipality calls upon entitled recipients to bring with them the required documentation when reporting to the Municipality to claim their houses; which are copy of valid passport, copy of family book, and the original identity card.
