Often locked in political wrangling, U.S. lawmakers in both the Senate and the House are taking an unusually swift approach to deal with free trade agreements (FTAs) with South Korea, Colombia and Panama, elevating chances that they will be passed during South Korean President Lee Myung-bak\'s highly symbolic trip here next week. Lee is scheduled to arrive in Washington on Tuesday for a four-day state visit. If the FTA between the allies wins approval, Lee is expected to address a joint session of Congress.
