French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Sunday that \"broad agreement\" was reached to ramp up the firepower of the eurozone rescue fund, at a summit of European Union leaders. Sarkozy, appearing alongside German Chancellor Angela Merkel after talks between the leaders of all 27 EU states, said \"a quite broad agreement is taking shape on the reinforcement of the EFSF,\" the 440-billion-euro European Financial Stability Facility set up to defend the euro single currency.
