The number of households engaged in farming, fishing and forestry declined 7.6 percent in 2010 from five years earlier due to an aging population and more people moving to cities for other jobs, a report showed Tuesday. The number of farming, fishing and forestry households came to 1.34 million as of Dec. 1 last year, compared with 1.45 million tallied in 2005, according to the report by Statistics Korea.
