The 5th Qatar Career Fair (QCF) will run from 10th -14th of April 2012 at the Qatar National Convention Centre, the QCF organizers announced Sunday. Qatar Career Fair organized annually by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, Qatar Petroleum, the Emiri Diwan, Qatar University, and the Ministry of Labor. QCF officials said that the registration for those who wish to participate will start from November 13 until December 1, 2011 in the registration office of the QCF center next to the Education City. QCF offers education, employment, training and development opportunities provided by all major economic sectors in the State of Qatar. It offers Qatari students education, recruitment, training opportunities and development in order to enhance their abilities and strengthen their skills enabling them to meet the challenges in national development. Officials at QCF started to organize information sessions for the potential exhibitors in the event in order to present all preparations and relevant information such as the sponsorship, the opportunities provided by the Fair, the registration process, and the important guidelines and instructions concerning the participation process, which are included in the "Exhibitors  Manual", that is distributed to the potential exhibitors before the registration process. The manual contains the details of participation in Diamond, pearl, gold, silver and bronze categories. The first information session was held in Texas A&M University in the Education City. During the meeting, Moza al-Muhannadi, the Senior Operations Officer at QCF, presented the preparations for the QCF 2012, the registration and the accompanied activities and events. Abdullah al-Mulla, the Activates and Volunteering Officer at QCF, announced the launch of "Qatar Career Club" initiative which aims to  communicate with all interested people, especially the youth, in the activities and events, in order to create a culture of career planning and new professional concepts and correct the current concepts. He noted that the club currently has 250 members. He added that Qatar Career Fair will launch the "Invest" initiative for the second year which aims to create an innovative generation to contribute to the development process in the State of Qatar in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
