German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Nicolas Sarkozy have agreed to hold a special meeting Wednesday in Cannes, France, the German government said Tuesday. During the meeting leaders of the European Union, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund will discuss how to tackle the escalating Greece debt crisis.
