Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., South Korea\'s leading power equipment maker, said Tuesday that it has won a US$80 million deal to build a seawater desalination plant in western Saudi Arabia. Under the deal with Marafiq, a Saudi Arabian state-run company, Doosan Heavy said it will construct the multi-effect desalination facility in Yanbu, about 350 kilometers northwest of Jeddah, the second-largest city in the country.
