A subcommittee will be appointed both on the national and provincial levels to provide consultation to businesses and those who seek jobs and implement government\'s measures to help cope with the crisis. In central Ayutthaya province, 616 businesses have been shut down and nearly 200,000 workers are temporarily out of work. Almost 300 people have been killed in the country\'s worst flooding in decades, and more than 200 highways and roads became impassable.
