U.S. stock indexes were slightly higher in New York to start the last full week of trading before Labor Day. In early afternoon trading Monday, the blue-chip Dow Jones industrial average added 3.07 points or 0.03 percent to 13,161.94. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite index added 8.93 points or 0.29 percent to 3,078.72. The Standard and Poor\'s 500 added 3.318 points or 0.23 points to 1,414.42. The benchmark 10-year treasury rose 11/32, yielding 1.655 percent. The euro rose to $1.2513 from Friday\'s $1.2512. Against the yen, the dollar rose to 78.70 yen from 78.65 yen. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 255 index added 14.63 points, 0.16 percent, to 9,085.39. The FTSE 100 index in London was closed for the Summer Bank Holiday.
