Tokyo - QNA
Tokyo stocks rebounded Thursday, with the Nikkei Stock Average climbing 68.81 points, or 0.79%, to end the day at 8,795.55. The benchmark index was lifted by buying of semiconductor-linked blue chips, following overnight gains in high-tech issues on Wall Street, which benefitted from strong earnings at Intel Corp, according to (Nikkei) website. The Tokyo market drifted after buying ran its course, however, due to a lack of fresh trading incentives.
