Qatar Exchange was pursued its upswing trend Tuesday adding 7.33 points or 0.09% to 8,469.93 points from the previous closing of 8,462.60. The volume of the shares traded was fell to 13,447,919 from 52,805,804 on Monday and the value of shares down to QR368,273,413.78 from QR1,143,242,805.57 Monday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Insurance which was up 0.71% to QR71.00, Barwa real estate company rose 2.63% to QR29.25, Islamic Holding gained 2.25% to QR38.60 and Salam International added by 3.42% to QR13.60. The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 2.37 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up by 36.63 points. The industrial sector was added by 10.23 points while insurance sector gained 6.33 points.
