The Qatar Exchange was down on Thursday 5.17 points or 0.06% to 8,599.65 points from the previous closing of 8,604.82. The volume of shares traded was up to 4,847,650 from 4,717,705 Wednesday, and the value of shares down to QR192,213,799.64 from QR203,216,337.94 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Commercial Bank of Qatar whose share dropped 0.80% to QR74.40, International Islamic Bank lost 0.57 to QR52.30, Electricity and Water fell 0.74% to QR134.40 and Doha Insurance down 3.64% to QR29.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 1.14 points while the Insurance sector down 56.49 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 0.37 points and the Services sector lost 1.62 points.
