The Italian stock market jumped by more than 3.0 percent on Friday as investors waited in hope that EU leaders will come up with a concrete solution to the eurozone debt crisis, which is now seen as a direct threat to Italy. The FTSE Mib index was up 3.25 percent at 1415 GMT, led by the banks -- Unicredit, up 8.33 percent, Intesa Sanpaolo, up 7.72 percent and Banco Popolare up 5.51 percent.
