Kuwait’s Stock Exchange has threatened to suspend trading in shares of 67 listed companies if they fail to submit their full-year financial reports by April 1. On a statement posted on its website, Kuwait Stock Exchange reiterated that the deadline for filing financial results with the bourse was three months after the close of the financial year. It said that 44 of the 67 firms, which include Gulf Investment House, Kuwait Investment Co, and International Financial Advisor, had not yet set a date for board meetings to discuss financial results. Other companies threatened with suspension are Global Investment House, Kuwait Finance and Investment Co, Aref Investment Group and Securities House.
