Japan\'s benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average rose 2 per cent Monday after gains on Wall Street and European markets and a better-than-expected jobs report in the United States. The Nikkei gained 171.18 points, or 2 per cent, to end at 8,726.29 while the broader-based Topix index was up 11.79 points, or 1.63 per cent, at 735.73, according to a report of DPA.
