Japanese stocks fell in Monday following news of the death of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 105.60 points, or 1.26 per cent, to 8,296.12. The broader Topix index fell 7.18 points, or 0.99 per cent, to trade at 716.38. Kim Jong Il died on Saturday of a heart attack, North Korean media reports said Monday.
