Japanese stocks dropped 2 per cent Wednesday, with export-oriented issues dragged down by the yen's strength, as market sentiment was hurt by losses on Wall Street and other Asian bourses. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 184.84 points, or 2.03 per cent, to end at 8,906.7 while the broader-based Topix index was down 15.12 points, or 2 per cent, at 742.54, DPA reported.
