Japanese stocks declined Friday morning as investors sold shares to lock in quick profits after a four-day streak of gains. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 53.26 points, or 0.59 per cent, to trade at 8,925.34 at the end of the morning session at 11:30 am (0230 GMT). The broader-based Topix index was down 2.86 points, or 0.38 per cent, at 748.98.
