It moved between 77.69 yen and 77.82 yen during the day, changing hands most frequently at 77.74 yen. The euro was quoted at 1.2875-2877 US dollars and 100.03-07 yen against 1.2891-2901 U.S. dollars and 100.30-40 yen in New York and 1.2900-2901 US dollars and 100.31-35 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon.
