Telecom Egypt achieved profits in the first six months of the year hitting 932 million pounds against 763 millions in the first half of last year.
In a statement it sent to the Egyptian bourse on Monday, Telecom Egypt said the total funds the company received in the first half of this year hit EGP 5.8 billion pounds against 6.4 billion in the same period last year.
The managing director and the executive president of the company said the first quarter of last year witnessed positive signs of the company's operations compared to this year.
