A major committee of the U.S. Senate on Tuesday approved a free trade agreement (FTA) with South Korea, as South Korea\'s President Lee Myung-bak started a five-day state visit here. The Senate Finance Committee sent the bill to the floor for vote by the entire Senate, slated for Wednesday. The committee also endorsed FTAs with Colombia and Panama.
