Japan's unemployment rate was unchanged at 3.2 per cent in April, the Japanese government said Tuesday.
Wholesale and retail sectors added 290,000 positions to 10.5 million, while the agriculture and forestry sectors saw a drop of 190,000 employees to 2.0 million, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications said.
The availability of jobs, measured as the ratio of job offers per job seeker, climbed to 1.34 in April, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare said.
