Japanese government eyes creating a new post of Russia economy cooperation minister, and Hiroshige Seko, Minister of Economy, is to double as the new Russian economy cooperation minister, Japan's Kyodo News reported, quoting government source.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is to visit Russia on Friday where he is slated to hold talks with President Vladimir Putin.
