Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil

Egypt's commercial office in Jakarta has obtained an approval from the agricultural quarantine authority in Indonesia to release all seized shipments of citrus that had been exported by an Egyptian company to the Asian country.

Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said Saturday the office was also able to re-register a list of citrus plants in line with the new regulations in Indonesia.

Egyptian companies are committed to all terms and standards set by the Indonesian authorities for Egyptian goods to tap the Indonesian market, said minister plenipotentiary Ahmed Antar.
