Cairo - MENA
The government approved on Sunday two agreements with the World Bank (WB) and African Development Bank (AFDB) to get soft loans worth 1.5 billion dollars.
The two deals will be later referred to the parliament for discussion.
International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr, meanwhile, said the two agreements are meant to serve the government's social and economic program and development projects.
"By signing the agreements, Egypt seeks to achieve comprehensive development and ensure social protection for citizens through the construction of development projects nationwide," she added.
