Germany Finance Ministry said in its monthly economic report that the country's economic growth eased in the third quarter after a strong growth in the first half was within expectation.
According to AAStocks Financial News, Germany's third-quarter economic growth was 0.2% quarter-on-quarter, slower than the second-quarter's quarterly growth of 0.4%.
Recently, the National Statistic Office, Destatis, reported that the German economy has picked up only moderately in the third quarter, adding that private consumption was the main driver of GDP expansion, while exports suffered from a global trade slump.
