Authorities successfully manage to resuce Panamanian ship

Head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish said Tuesday New Katerina, a bulk carrier that ran aground in Suez Canal, was re-floated thanks to the new Suez Canal.

The success was achieved by own equipment of the Suez Canal Authority without making benefits from foreign experiences, said Mohab Mamish in a statement.

The Panamanian ship, which was coming from Russia and heading to China, went off course 

Thursday in the 63rd km of the canal’s Western branch. 

The ship was carrying a cargo of iron dust.
