Fifty-one ships transited the Suez Canal on Sunday, with a total cargo of 2.7 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 26 vessels carrying around 1.4 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 25 ships carrying about 1.3 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
