Forty-eight ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of 2.400 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 26 vessels carrying 1.300 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 22 ships carrying 1.100 million tons, according to navigational statistics released by the Suez Canal Authority.
