Forty-five ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo load of 2.5 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 19 vessels carrying around 1.4 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 26 ships carrying about 1.04 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
