Thirty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Sunday carrying a total cargo of 1.830 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 12 vessels carrying 505,000 tons, while the north-bound convoy included 24 ships carrying 1.325 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
