Minister of Industry and Mines, Abdessalam Bouchouareb, received Monday in Algiers, head of the work team in charge of Algeria's accession to the TWO, Alberto d'Alotto.
During the meeting, Bouchouareb presented to Alotto Algeria's vision on the revitalization of the industry by promoting domestic production, the ministry said in a statement.
 The underway reform projects including those relating to improving the business climate and the revision of the investment code to make it more attractive to investors and international partnership were also discussed.
In addition, Bouchouareb stressed the implementation of the national policy on quality as well as the launch of a deep work for the adoption and appropriation of worldwide standards.
According to the same source, these projects aim at privileging non-tariff protection, guaranteeing sustainable positioning that takes into account the demands of the market, while continuing to encourage productive investment in particular.
Alotto's the three-day visit to Algiers comes after the signature in mid-October a Memorandum of Agreement for the conclusion of bilateral negotiations between Algeria and Argentina on Algeria's accession to the WTO.
Algeria, which still is in discussions with 19 other countries including twelve member ones (12recently received forty issues from Canada in addition to more than a hundred questions of EU.
