Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Saturday with his Algerian counterpart Abdelmalek Sellal, German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel and Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ali Ghanem.
The meetings were held on the fringe of the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC), currently in session here.
Mahlab welcomed his Algerian counterpart and voiced appreciation for Algeria's participation in the EEDC and said this event will open up vast horizons for luring more investments, boosting cooperation and beefing up trade exchange with various Arab and foreign companies.
Mahlab offered thanks to Sellal on Algeria's facilitating measures for the importation of gas, noting that the coming phase will witness new cooperation between the two countries.
The premier also discussed with the German economy minister means of bolstering cooperation between the two countries, especially the technical education and youth training. He also voiced appreciation for Germany's influential participation at the conference, which gave an evidence that Egypt's economy has started to recover thanks to contributions of all international companies to development efforts in Egypt.
Meanwhile, Kuwait's Chamber of Commerce and Industry voiced satisfaction over the Kuwaiti leadership backing for Egypt at such critical phase of its history.
He also asserted that investment opportunities in Egypt are attaining much interest of the Kuwaiti investors, especially in the field of education as Egypt's scientist Dr Ahmed Zuweil praised the efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to remove all pending problems of the Kuwait investors in a way that could propel the investment climate in Egypt.
