Patients Helping Fund (PHF) announced on Monday closure of its branch in Sabahiya area upon request from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor.
In a press statement, the PHF Chairman Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharhan said the decision came in response to the ministry's request and out of belief that the Ministry is trying to regulate the charity work for the interest of charities and beneficiaries alike. He added that the PHF is coordinating with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor to open new branches after completing procedures and required government approvals.
