Work has started for the construction of a new tunnel in Banha, Qalubiya, to accommodate the rising number of vehicles, Governor Mohamed Abdel Zaher said.
Digging at the new tunnel has started as the project is one of the most important to develop the city of Banha and will connect it with other districts, he said.
The project will cost EGP 9 million, he added.
