The National Qualifications Assessment Committee convened for its periodic meeting and evaluated a total 108 medical, engineering, science, law, political and business management academic degrees.
Chaired by Education Ministry Undersecretary for Educational and Curricula Affairs Dr. Abdulla Yusuf Al-Mutawa, the panel found the university degrees below the required academic assessment standards.
The committee has delayed the assessment of other academic degrees pending completion of the required assessment terms and regulations. The committee has also discussed a draft academic guidance project in cooperation with the Electronic Government Authority (e-GA).
