Cairo - MENA
Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr stressed on Wednesday that problems of investors are on the top of her priorities within the coming period.
In a meeting with the Egyptian Federation of Investors Association under Mohamed Farid Khamis, Nasr said she is keen on holding a periodical meeting with the federation to stand on problems facing investors in order to find solutions to them.
She added that she has directives to work on luring more investments to the Egyptian market, noting that enacting the Investment Law and all other related laws regulating investment climate in Egypt are a must.
Khamis, meanwhile, expressed investors' confidence in all steps Nasr has taken since she was appointed the investment minister.
He said federation members are willing to join efforts with the minister to settle any problems facing investors, atop of which are bureaucratic procedures.
He said members of the federation represent 55 investor associations and they are willing to increase their investments in the African market.
The two sides agreed on presenting their suggestions to settle investors' problems during the next meeting.
