President of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Ali Mohammed Thunayan al Ghanim asserted that Kuwaiti investors would actively support Egypt in the upcoming period, said visiting Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Naglaa el Ahwani.
Ghanim said Kuwaiti investors seek closer business ties with Egypt, noting that the recent political and economic reforms adopted by the Egyptian government have positively lured Kuwaiti investors, she quoted him as saying.
Earlier in the day, visiting Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with Ghanim and KCCI board members.
Sisi started a two-day visit to Kuwait on Monday.
