The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Qatar, Met'eb Al-Mutawtah, has praised quality and diversity of Kuwaiti good and products, displayed at "the fair of productive Gulf families," held here as part of the affiliated activities of the Fourth GCC Festival for Social Work.
The ambassador, after inspecting the Kuwaiti pavilion, hailed the Ministry of Social Affairs for supporting and encouraging families to be productive. He heaped praise, in particularly, upon the the program, themed "min kasb yadi (earned with my bare hands), which aims to train and aid the families to become self-sufficient and market their products in Kuwait and abroad.
Leila Al-Abdullah, the program's coordinator of courses and fairs, told KUNA that the Kuwaiti section has attracted a noticeable number of visitors, indicating that the Kuwaiti team succeeded in selling a large number of the products, namely woven pieces.
Proceeds of the sales will be shifted to the productive families. Kitchen utensils and perfumes were some of the mostly sold products The Kuwaiti Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Sabeeh Al-Sabeeh, on Wednesday, opened the exhibition and examined the Kuwaiti pavilion, praising the qualitative and meticulously-made products and services offered by productive families.
She confirmed that the ministry devotes particular attention to these families, regularly train, educate them and furnish them with raw materials.
