Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Nasser Judeh on Monday met Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Nirmala Sitharaman and discussed with her ways to cement economic ties between Jordan and India.
They discussed the latest developments in the region, including Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Jordan's efforts to deal with regional turmoil, according to Jordanian Petra news agency.
The meeting touched on the humanitarian repercussions of the Syrian crisis on Jordan in areas of health and education.
The Indian minister said her country is ready to enhance cooperation with Jordan in various fields.
