A man suspected of conning a number of citizens of their money is facing legal action.

The suspected conman persuaded them into investing their savings but failed to secure the necessary licences.

The General Directorate of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security launched an inquiry against the suspect who is still outside Bahrain.

The directorate took legal action in cooperation with the Public Prosecution, based on filed complaints.

The General Director of Anti-corruption and Economic and Electronic Security called upon the public to ensue all legal measures before entering business projects.
