H.H. Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has contributed AED million as 'Edeya', or Eid gift, Dar Al Ber Society's orphans on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
Khalfan Khalifa Al Mazrouie, Chairman of Dar Al Ber Society, said the humanitarian initiative reflects the kindness and altruism of H.H. Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum for the orphans of the Society whom she thoroughly takes care of.
This generous contribution assists the Dar Al Ber Society to provide for the orphan's needs and bring them happiness during Eid, he added.
Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, Executive Director of Dar Al Ber Society, said that the organisation deposited the donation into the accounts of the listed orphans across the country, adding that all the children were very grateful for Sheikha Hind's generosity.
