Ministry of Social Solidarity

Ministry of Social Solidarity denied reports circulated on social networks on raising the retirement age to 65 under a new insurance and pensions law.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Ministry asserted that a new law which is currently being prepared by a ministerial committee will guarantee social integration and handle the problem of the decrease of pensions values.
The statement pointed out that a fund for social care will be established to include pensioners and disengage the insurance funds away from the state's general treasury.
It also said the new law will increase the monthly values of the pensions on regular bases.
