Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohamed Badreddine Zayed said on Thursday that Egyptian economy has witnessed improvement on way back to normal track.
The diplomat made the remarks during a meeting with board members of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Beirut.
Egyptian economy has grown up by 4 percent in 2014 after it recorded only 2 percent following the January 25 revolution, the diplomat told the meeting.
Egypt and Lebanon are linked with very special relations that relay on ties between people, he added, saying, strong ties would give Lebanese investors privileges to work in Egypt.
Zayed underlined the importance of a meeting by Egyptian and Lebanese businessmen planned to be held in February, noting, another is planned to be held before the international economic development conference scheduled in March.
