The Egyptian cabinet on Wednesday approved a draft presidential decree amending some provisions of the Special Economic Zones Act of 2001.
In a statement today, the cabinet said that the draft decree states that president of the republic has the right to establish economic zones outside the inhabited areas of cities and towns.
