The Agriculture Ministry vowed to strike hard against black market traders selling fertilizers and agricultural pesticides.
The ministry, in cooperation with relevant security bodies, has been carrying out campaigns nationwide to catch violators and bring them to justice, it said in a statement Sunday.
The campaigns led to raiding eight shops in Minya selling unlicensed pesticides and two factories refilling bottles and sacks with adulterated pesticides and fertilizers, the statement added.
